The HPX presses work with a piston-cylinder system in which the press piston is driven hydraulically. There are 68 to 180 juicing elements between the piston and the cylinder base, which ensure efficient juicing.
The product is fed centrally into the press, whereby several pressing cycles are required to achieve an optimum result. During one cycle, the piston gently presses the material forward, loosens the pressing residue on the return and rotates at the same time.
This unique combination ensures maximum juice yield with minimum trub content. At the end of the pressing process, the cylinder opens and the pressing residues are discharged.
A self-optimizing control system adjusts the parameters in real time to maximize the pressability of the product and ensure optimum throughput and yield values. In addition, real-time data acquisition provides valuable process and production data for the operator.
